I am leaving 1 star review, only due to the nice, yet somewhat claustrophobic feeling facilities. Let’s talk about my tour with staff today, in particular “Adrianne” at the 235 California Street San Francisco location. As she was made aware, I own a Japan based company looking to expand here. I informed Adrianne there is a 16 hour time difference and that I would need to work nights obviously. Adrianne then proceeded to basically make an aggressive remark , “we do not allow people to sleep here”. I'm here to work and make money I replied. My reply, I felt, fell upon deaf ears (as the expression goes). Great first impression! Oh my God! This is my first impression of her, she accusing me of using the facilities to sleep! Told her, (not that she seemed to care) I was offended by the insinuation and I walked out. Also, worth noting, I felt their rates were outrageous! $499 for just the use of the open coming areas! Plus tax off course. Adrianne’s response to the ridiculous rates were,” we offer breakfast. Cereal and coffee?! Big whoop! Not great if you’re health oriented. Private offices, don’t even get me started! So, this was the first impression I got here, I will not return obviously. Next day, I receive a free pass for one day to try out the facilities. HA! More rude comments and unprofessional behavior?! I don't think so.

Worst customer service for an office space I’ve experienced. We signed up for a tour and waited over an hour in the lobby for Adrianne, but no one ever showed up. Texted the support line for an hour, kept promising someone would show up and no one ever did. Total waste of time.

Overcrowded. Would recommend a different company. New staff here in May made it a far worse environment. Food is always gone within minutes, hard to find coworking space, and the staff (Reilly Moran) has let the place go

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Open desks may be the ideal choice if you thrive in a collaborative environment and value the opportunity to connect with fellow coworkers. Dedicated desks, on the other hand, provide a designated space with shared community amenities, catering to those who seek a balance between privacy and interaction.

For ultimate focus and private interactions, private offices are best for solo individuals and teams that seek uninterrupted productivity.

Selecting the most suitable workspace for you typically hinges on your work style and preferences, but it can also be determined by the type of work that you do, its duration, and whether you work alone or in a team.

  • At Industrious - 345 California Street, you can book a Meeting Room for a flexible hourly rate. For those who require a workspace for an entire day, Day Passs and Meeting Rooms are also available. And for those seeking a long-term solution, Private Offices can be booked on a monthly basis.

  • Industrious - 345 California Street has a 24/7 availability that comes with a monthly membership. Hourly and day passes usually only allow for access during regular business hours.

  • Whether you're a day pass holder or a monthly member, you can access most amenities. Meeting rooms do require prior scheduling, and private offices are reserved for those with subscriptions. However, the lounge, kitchen, and breakout spaces are open to all. Complimentary services are also available regardless of membership tier, while ancillary services can be purchased separately or negotiated with Industrious.

  • While storage in coworking spaces is generally limited, and mostly reserved for members with dedicated desks or private offices, you should always check with the coworking operator about additional storage solutions.
