UK flexible workspace provider Cubo recorded its best quarter to date for desk signings in Q1 2025, with more than 700 desks taken between January and March.
Growth was driven by a strong uptake across sites, including Cubo’s Manchester Spinningfields location, which reached 50% occupancy within three months of launch. The company also debuted in London with Cubo Soho — a 28,884-square-foot Grade A site in Ilona Rose House. “Our record-breaking Q1 results are a powerful reflection of Cubo’s continued growth and the clear and growing demand for high-quality, flexible office space,” said Marc Brough, CEO at Cubo.
Cubo’s expansion strategy — targeting Grade A office space in core city centres — appears to be paying off. According to CoStar, the company accounted for 33% of all flexible workspace leasing activity across the UK’s “Big Six” cities throughout the last two years, outperforming competitors IWG and Orega (both at 13%).
“We have hit the ground running with Cubo Soho,” Brough added. “Achieving 50% occupancy at Manchester Spinningfields within three months is a testament to the strength of our offer.”
Cubo plans to launch further sites throughout 2025 as it continues its national rollout.
