WeWork launched WeWork Go, a new workspace solution which offers private office pods to professionals on the go, on April 13 and presented it at the 2026 Annual Convening of Semafor World Economy in Washington, D.C.
These new office pods provide private, enclosed spaces for focused work in dynamic, fast-paced settings, such as airports, convention centers and hotel lobbies. With these pods, professionals will be able to benefit from the company’s spaces, services and technology when and where they need it.
“The workday is no longer static; it doesn’t start and end at a desk. It happens in a busy terminal, between flights to your regional office; when you need to host a client meeting while attending a 1,000-person conference; or when you’re on the go and have to take a call in a busy hotel lobby. With WeWork Go, we’re bringing the quality, privacy, and experience of a WeWork office to the locations where and when people need it most. It’s a powerful extension of our platform and another bold step toward delivering real estate solutions designed for the way the world works today,” said John Santora, Chief Executive Officer at WeWork in a press release.
The pods come in three configurations: a single-user unit for focused work, a multi-user space for up to four people, and an ADA-compliant pod, designed for universal accessibility. Key design features include soundproofing, curated lighting, ergonomic seating, integrated high-speed connectivity, and sustainable materials. The pods were developed in collaboration with design firm Bureau.
“Every element, from acoustics and lighting to materials and comfort, was intentionally designed to deliver the high-quality, focused experience WeWork is renowned for. The result is a workspace that feels elevated and intuitive, while remaining accessible to anyone, anywhere,” said Ebbie Wisecarver, Chief Design and Product Officer at WeWork.
Professionals will be able to book these pods or access them on the spot through the WeWork Go app. Rates will vary based on the location and length of the session, allowing professionals to select the option that best suits their needs.
