Kiln, a boutique coworking provider, is continuing its expansion in Texas with a 29,000-square-foot flex office located at 7300 Lone Star Drive in Plano. The coworking space will open its doors this November after a $2.5 million investment in interior renovations.
The new shared workspace will be part of Legacy North, a mixed-use development offering upscale eating options, shopping, entertainment and modern residential areas. Within the coworking space, members can find dedicated workplaces, team studios, private offices, meeting rooms, phone booths, and event venues, as well as multiple boutique amenities, such as a yoga room, a massage chair, treadmill desks and a wellness program.
“Plano felt like a natural next step for Kiln as we continue establishing our presence in North Texas,” said Kiln Member Success Manager, Laycee Gonzalez, in a statement. “It has an incredibly strong business community, a growing entrepreneurial ecosystem, and a unique mix of established companies and emerging businesses.”
The move comes after Kiln’s debut in Texas this May, when the provider launched the coworking space located at 9850 North Central Expressway in Dallas. Kiln’s first Texas location is found within The Hill, another mixed-use development catering to the communities of Park Cities, Lakewood and Lake Highlands.
“Texas is quickly becoming one of the country’s most influential business and talent markets, and Dallas and Plano stand out as places with exceptional momentum,” said Kiln Chief Growth Officer, Brighton Youd, in a press release.
By the end of the year, Kiln plans to operate more than 30 locations across nine states — Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Texas and Utah.
