Industrious is solidifying its presence in Manhattan, N.Y., with lease agreements for three office spaces set to open by the end of the year.
The largest of the three will be Indy by Industrious Gramercy Park, a 25,000-square-foot location at 120 E. 23rd St. in Midtown South’s Gramercy Park neighborhood that will include 182 office seats and a lounge area.
Additionally, Indy by Industrious 9 Times Square (located at 200 W. 41st St.) has 17,510 square feet and will host around 130 working spots.
Finally, Indy by Industrious Columbus Circle will transform 11,810 square feet from a 21-story office building at 5 Columbus Circle into 100 flex office seats.
The three new coworking spaces are part of the company’s “Indy by Industrious” brand, which focuses on placing flexible workspaces closer to residential neighborhoods, thereby allowing professionals to work near home and reduce commuting time. After debuting in Austin, Texas, the Indy model is also being extended to Denver, Phoenix, and Chicago, underscoring Industrious’ ongoing strategy to make coworking more accessible, community-driven and convenient.
Earlier this year, Industrious signed deals for three other locations — Rudin’s 560 Lexington Ave., 107 Greenwich St. and Ogden Cap Properties’ 1900 Broadway. However, these offices are distinct from the Indy by Industrious collection.
