Portland-based coworking operator Vida will be opening a new flexible workspace this October in Montgomery Park — Portland’s third-largest office building.
The shared workspace will offer 20 private offices, 20 dedicated desks and conference rooms available under different membership tiers. Private office prices start at $1,050 per month for small offices and $1,250 per month for medium-sized offices, while monthly memberships range from $79 to $400. Members will have access to a variety of amenities, including a fitness studio, secure bike parking, 24/7 secure access, a nursing room and a rest space.
This is Vida’s third coworking space in Portland. The first opened in 2019 at 401 NE 19th Ave. in the former Jantzen Swimwear Building, while the second is at 9400 SW Beaverton Hillsdale Highway. The Beaverton location opened its doors three years ago.
The 756,000-square-foot office building is located at 2701 NW Vaughn St. in Slabtown, a northwest Portland neighborhood that’s now one of the city’s most active spots for small businesses, startups and independent professionals.
Montgomery Park changed hands for $33 million 2024, purchased and renovated by Menashe Properties.
“After the acquisition, it felt like the right time to move in there,” said Melanie Marconi, founder & CEO of Vida Coworking, in a statement. “And we knew we had some room to grow in the Portland market … there’s only one other coworking space in that neighborhood, so I think ours just adds a nice local option.”
“Montgomery Park has been underserved when it comes to dedicated coworking space,” the company noted in a press release. “Vida’s expansion brings its community-first model, honed over seven years in Portland and Beaverton, to workers who’ve had to commute across the city for a space like this (or work from home).”
