The space and the people are so welcoming. Tricia and Farran are filled with knowledge and encouragement. They make you feel like you can take on the world...so podcast equipment is a breeze. Well, not really a breeze, but they equip you with the info and training you need.

PowerHouse is the ultimate meeting and creative podcasting space in San Jose, CA. The company I work with booked this space for the week of GTC and it provided everything we needed and more - with plenty of meeting space, comfy furniture, a Nespresso maker and more. Inside the house, they have a podcast studio that we got to use that proved to be an awesome place to shoot from. The owners of the space, Tricia and Farran were amazing to work with as well. Highly recommend using the PowerHouse for your next event!

Rented this studio for a solo recording session and honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. Booking was simple and the space itself is clean, well-maintained, and the gear is legit, not the "good enough" stuff you sometimes find at rental spaces. Easy to find, easy to park, and the staff were genuinely helpful without being hovery. If you're a solo podcaster looking for a professional setup without the stress, this is it. Already planning to come back.

I recently rented Powerhouse for three days to host company meetings and gatherings during a conference, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The house is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated… everyone I invited had admiration for the space. Tricia and Farran were exceptional hosts! They went above and beyond to help me get everything set up exactly how my company needed, making the entire process seamless and stress free. They also did an amazing job assisting us with recording interview footage in the podcast studio, which turned out fantastic. Powerhouse is extremely well-equipped for hosting both meetings and events comfortably. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and inspiring space!

Farran was super helpful, and we filmed a video interview in the space and were able to get plenty of good b-roll as well. Yes, the studio is right next to the highway, but with some awareness and good audio filters in post it’s solid. If you’re also adding music it will be even easier. Would definitely come back!
