I visited Spaces because I am looking to lease an office for approximately a year, and unfortunately, my experience with the front desk/office manager was extremely disappointing. From the moment I entered, neither of the two people at the front desk acknowledged me. One of them was watching videos on her phone and laughing to herself. This was my first impression as a potential tenant coming in to tour office space. The office manager/receptionist told me that Tiffany had asked her to show me five offices. At the time, I was carrying a laptop roller bag, coffee, and food. She saw that my hands were completely full, but never offered to let me put my things down before starting the tour. Instead, she immediately started walking quickly from office to office and would walk far ahead of me. I barely had an opportunity to ask if there was somewhere I could set my belongings down while she showed me the offices. There also seemed to be a clear disconnect between the front desk and the salesperson, Tiffany. When I asked where Tiffany would be conferencing in to discuss pricing with me, the receptionist did not seem to know what I was talking about. The most concerning interaction happened around 4:50 p.m. She explained that because Spaces closes at 5:00 p.m., I would need to use a different entrance and code to access the parking garage after hours. The after-hours entrance was on a different end of the garage from where I had parked. I had intentionally parked near the elevator that led directly into the building adjacent to Spaces. Because the garage was very dark and poorly lit, I asked if I could move my car to the open parking area before 5:00 p.m. so that I would not have to walk through the dark garage later trying to find my car. She told me in a harsh tone, “As long as you are back by 5.” I did not know exactly how many minutes it would take me to walk to the garage, move my car, and walk back into Spaces, so I asked a very reasonable question: If I were one minute late, would my laptop and work items be locked inside Spaces because I would no longer be able to re-enter after 5:00 p.m.? Her response was that I had to be back inside the building by 5:00 p.m. She never offered to wait one or two extra minutes or even reassure me that she would make sure I could retrieve my laptop and belongings if moving my car took slightly longer than expected. Because she did not offer, I asked if I could get my things if I was 1-2 minutes late. Instead, she scolded me as if I were a child and said, “It should not take you more than 10 minutes to move your car.” I really did not want to pack everything up because I still had approximately 20 minutes of work to finish. I was simply trying to move my car before the garage access changed so I could safely get to it later. Because her attitude and response was so shocking, I just left. What kind of coworking office manager treats a potential long-term tenant this way? My mind is truly baffled by the entire experience. I was considering leasing an office here for a year, so I am glad I saw this in their staff now as opposed to after signing a 12 month lease. Throughout my visit, the office manager/receptionist came across as entitled, rude, dismissive, and inhospitable. A coworking space should provide a welcoming and professional environment for both existing tenants and prospective tenants. This experience was the exact opposite. Especially in Silicon Valley, where coworking spaces are competing for professionals, entrepreneurs, startups, and long-term tenants, I was genuinely surprised by this level of customer service. If this is how a potential tenant is treated during an office tour, it raises serious concerns for me about what the experience would be like after signing a year-long lease. *If they check the cameras, everything I said can be validated.

This is a predatory business that preys on unsuspecting new business owners who are not adept at reading the fine print of contracts. Yes, they disclose in an addendum to the lease that you must notify them either 1, 2, or 3 months in advance of the end of your lease contract that you do not wish to continue, however those notices are very long considering they provide temporary discounts for multi-month contracts, that then auto-renew at the "prevailing" rate which is often 35% more than the original rate, for an even longer term. This is not a good lease, and they also tack on "services" fees for "premium" internet and "unlimited coffee and tea". In short, you can do much better than to use this place. They do have a well appointed atmosphere, but it isn't worth it for the price and the inability to cancel these "auto-renewed" leases. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Just seeing the business owner's response now from 6 months back. I came back to add that to add insult to injury, they charged a $57 restoration fee, even though we never used the coworking space the last 6 months. However, I will see about creating a support ticket to see if they are able to work with us about the entire contract.

I had a very frustrating experience with this business. After upgrading to 24/7 access, I was charged for both my previous plan and the upgraded plan at the same time, instead of the old plan being properly replaced. I contacted them, but the issue was not resolved, and the only follow-up I received was from the accounts receivable team asking for payment and additional fees. They handed over my private information to a third party collector. I was also contacted by a third-party collector even though my records showed no overdue balance. I had to spend a significant amount of time gathering payment records and proving my case myself, and I did not receive a meaningful response for over three months. In addition, I canceled auto-renewal on the platform multiple times, but it kept reverting. Even after canceling three times, I still received renewal-related emails stating that the contract would be treated as renewed. The front desk staff were kind and professional, which is the only reason I am leaving 1 star instead of 0.

I’ve had such a great experience at this shared office space. The two front-desk staff members: AJ and Enya are absolutely amazing! Always warm, helpful, and on top of everything. The sales team was also fantastic; they made the whole process smooth and answered every question with patience and professionalism. The center itself is beautiful: modern, clean, and thoughtfully set up. It’s a really comfortable place to work and has all the amenities you’d expect from a high-quality workspace. Highly recommend!
