Venture X is opening its first flexible office and coworking space on March 27 in College Park, Md., in Prince George’s County. The grand opening will begin with a ribbon-cutting at 1 p.m., followed by a community event at 2:30 p.m. at 5825 University Research Court, Suite 2000. The public is invited to attend, tour the facility and meet local business leaders.

The 13,898-square-foot facility includes 60 private offices that can accommodate one to five people; shared coworking areas; two conference rooms; a training room; and a café-style lounge that can also be used for events.

Additional amenities include free parking; electric vehicle charging stations; high-speed internet; printing and copying services; and convenient access to nearby restaurants and public transportation. The space is designed to provide a professional, flexible environment for entrepreneurs, startups and small businesses at all stages of growth.

The facility is owned by Moniesha Jackson Shorter, who said that she created Venture X College Park to provide a supportive environment where business owners can work, collaborate and access resources. Located near the University of Maryland and local research institutions, Venture X College Park adds to Prince George’s County’s resources for business development and innovation.
