UK coworking brand Flexico will open a new 7,500-sq-ft flexible workspace at Hexagon House, within the St James Business Park, Knaresborough. The launch will be celebrated with a free open day event and a speech from Flexico’s CEO, Tom Almas, on Tuesday 12 May.
The Wizu Group, a UK provider of flexible, design-led workspaces, is opening Hexagon House in partnership with landlord Shirestone. The space is the 19th location under the company’s Flexico brand portfolio, which currently operates across eight major UK cities including Leeds, Harrogate, Sheffield, Newcastle, York, East Midlands and Glasgow.
The location at Hexagon House provides contemporary serviced offices, a coworking space, virtual offices and two bookable meeting rooms, all accessible through pay-as-you-go plans or membership-based subscriptions. Private offices offer up to 30-desk capacity, while the coworking lounge features all-day access, booth seating, and a stocked kitchen. A dedicated team is also on hand.
“Our mantra is ‘everything you need and nothing you don’t’ and with Flexico we offer our already popular membership model. Hexagon House has capacity for over 200 workstations, plus meeting rooms. We’ll also continue to offer a range of professional needs, offering both phone-booths and quiet spaces,” says Wizu Group Chairman and co-founder John Guggenheim.
One of the standout assets of this new location is the free onsite parking, which, combined with Hexagon House’s proximity to the A1 motorway, makes the space ideal for professionals on the move or travelling from further afield. The workspace is also five minutes from Knaresborough train station and 15 minutes from Harrogate town centre.
“Flexico is taking that model and applying it to business communities operating outside the hustle and bustle of city centres with less immediate access to modern office facilities that meet their business needs. It caters for individuals and businesses wanting flexibility and accessibility in vibrant, stylish and creative hubs without having to pay city-centre prices,” adds Tom Almas, Wizu Group CEO and co-founder.
Prices for office space start from £175 per desk, coworking from £85, meeting rooms from £20 per person per day, and virtual offices from £40 per month.
