Situated at the heart of Denver’s central business district, it can be found at 1245 Champa St. with luxury hotels, lush green parks and fantastic eateries at its doorstep. Besides being in an extremely walkable area, The Commons on Champa is also easily reachable through a complex cycling infrastructure or via car with several parking options available nearby. When it comes to public transportation, the RTD Light Rail’s Theater District/Convention Center Station can be found nearby with access to the D, F and H lines.
The Commons team characterizes its mission as being an integrated resource for entrepreneurs and a proud catalyst for economic growth in Denver. Through its community; its Startup & Small Business Support; and various programs and events, it aims to help small businesses take things to a whole new level. Notably, The Commons has had a massive influence on the local economy since beginning its activity and currently serves more than 17,000 entrepreneurs per year, 60% of which are women, people of color, military veterans or those among the economically vulnerable. Plus, 600 new ventures have been launched with support from The Commons, and those opting to try out their programs have reported a 118% confidence increase since joining “the club.”
What’s more, its nine-week co-starters program helps entrepreneurs increase their visibility, while the Women on the Rise program offers a wide range of resources and expertise to help build a strong business. The Commons also offers Power Hours in the form of sessions that also aim to help establish and strengthen an entrepreneurial venture. As far as workspaces go, people can opt to work from either coworking spaces or dedicated desks in the Innovation Lounge. Finally, private event and meeting rooms are also at your disposal for hosting successful business presentations and impressive meeting sessions with clients.
