On July 1, 2023, Workbox, a dedicated coworking provider devoted to offering the proper resources to startups and growing businesses, opened new doors among the Salt Lake City business community.

Workbox Salt Lake City, which is situated at 132 S. State Street, is committed to providing business owners and entrepreneurs in the area with the chance to join an unrivaled network of expanding enterprises. Additional member perks include direct access to more than 60 investors and lenders, operational services and programming, as well as exciting networking opportunities.

The historic Orpheum Theater now houses Workbox’s sixth location, its very first in Salt Lake City, taking over operations of the area that was originally run by CommonGrounds Workplace.

“We have seen continued success with Workbox in Chicago and Minneapolis since we launched four years ago and are ready to enter Salt Lake City—a city we’ve wanted to be a part of for some time,” declared the CEO and Co-Founder of Workbox, John Wallace.

A common cooking area with a coffee bar, weekly food and networking options, lounge areas, private conference rooms, phone booths, bike storage, showers, ski lockers, and free transport to nearby mountains, are all available to members of this Workbox location.

The coworking space includes over 50 office spaces, with private offices having between one and nine desks each. For those looking for personalized arrangements, there are also floating membership and reserved desk possibilities. The cost of a membership here starts at $250 a month, and Workbox will extend free office leases of up to two months through the end of 2023.

Regarding the new location, John Wallace added: “The small business and startup industry is booming in Salt Lake City, and we know our world-class workspace offerings and business services will attract and assist the local entrepreneurial community to grow to new heights. The tools and resources we offer to help grow early-stage companies and small businesses are extremely unique in our industry, and we look forward to working with the greater community to help strengthen our Salt Lake City ties and business impact.”
