Gainesville, Georgia, is set to become home to the newest THRIVE Coworking site. Known across the flex industry as a workspace provider with a strong involvement in community and philanthropic acts, THRIVE will provide a new coworking space with comfortable open spaces, private offices, and meeting rooms to serve both large and small enterprises, along with individual remote employees or solopreneurs.

Here, THRIVE’s recent renovation of the Gainesville building from the 1900s paid homage to its historic character by fusing modern innovation with antique charm. In particular, the building’s original tin ceilings, hardwood flooring, and the incorporation of exposed brick into the final design are all unique features that were carefully preserved at this location. Additionally, the coworking area is situated in Gainesville’s historic plaza, which is close to some of the top dining establishments and retail centers in the area.

“Gainesville is one example of THRIVE’s passion to revitalize downtowns and reinvent coworking by creating game-changing workspaces that enrich, excite and inspire,” said Chris Smith, THRIVE’s Chief Revenue Officer. “At this week’s grand opening, we look forward to sharing our coworking environment that fosters inspiration, collaboration and community.”

Notably, the coworking space in Gainesville will include a variety of membership choices created for a range of different workers and businesses. Thrive Gainesville will also provide free coffee, tea, and snacks, in addition to monthly catered breakfasts, lunches and happy hours.

On top of these benefits, members of THRIVE also receive access to all of the operator’s locations in the Southeast and Midwest. To that end, the Atlanta-based operator just became a member of The League of Extraordinary Coworking Spaces (LExC) — a grouping of more than 100 coworking spaces belonging to more than 30 global brands. As a result, all of these hand-selected coworking spaces — which are held to the same high standards of quality — will be accessible to THRIVE members, as well.

As one of the more recent brands in the coworking industry, THRIVE is known for its strong dedication to philanthropic objectives. The operator is particularly focused on assisting businesses that are having trouble adjusting to the new hybrid work paradigm, as well as purchasing struggling coworking providers. In fact, within the next five years, THRIVE’S mission is to have 500 coworking locations open nationwide. Currently, it has sites in Alabama, Georgia, Montana, North Carolina, South Carolina and Ohio.
