We moved out three months ago and have yet to receive our security deposit. Despite reaching out multiple times, we have not received any response, which is extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Additionally, rent was increased every six months, making it difficult to keep up with the constant changes. Between the lack of communication and ongoing rent increases, management has been very frustrating to deal with. Overall, this has been a very negative experience. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Storage unit itself was great. Dealing with their corporate team has been an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. We moved out in January and should have been reissued our security deposit refund check by April. We are at the end of May and we have yet to be issued our security deposit check. We have reached out to corporate only to be told multiple times, " I am coordinating with our accounts payable team to get a confirmed date of when the refund will be mailed out and that has been their response since April 2nd. On 5/7- "We've already coordinated with our disbursement team to prioritize your check. We acknowledge that it's already way beyond the given processing timeframe for a refund. " On 5/13- "The request has been escalated, and we are actively monitoring its progress." 5/20- " I’ve checked this with our manager and requested that your check be added to the priority list. At this time, we are still awaiting further instructions to proceed." Constant run around and one actually takes ownership of the request. How many people does it need to be escalated to, in order to get a real answer? Almost 2 months later and a check that is approved cant be mailed? DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. They do not give have the same expectation to return your money as they demand taking your money and expecting you to pay on time.. Escalating to BBB complaint next.

I am posting publicly because the situation at the Sugar Land, TX facility has reached a point where I can no longer get a fair or consistent response through local management. After more than three years as a reliable, on‑time tenant, my unit was suddenly locked without notice, and I received an immediate termination email with no prior warning, no investigation, and no opportunity to clarify anything — despite the contract clearly requiring notice before termination. What has happened over the past week raises serious concerns about how tenants are being treated at this location. I was first told I had 24 hours to vacate, even though I have 2,640 sq ft of inventory inside. Then I was told I could have 30 days, but only at a new, higher rate. The pressure to leave — combined with the sudden rate change — makes it difficult not to conclude that the goal is simply to push me out so the space can be re‑leased at a higher price. I have been a loyal tenant who planned to continue my lease through 2027 and expand into additional space. Instead, I am facing abrupt lockouts, inconsistent explanations, and treatment that does not align with Cubework’s stated values or contractual obligations. I am requesting that someone from Cubework’s executive leadership review this situation immediately. This is not just a misunderstanding — it reflects a pattern of actions that are unfair, disruptive to my business, and damaging to Cubework’s reputation among long‑term tenants. I am still hoping for a professional resolution, but I need someone at the corporate level to step in and address what is happening at the Sugar Land facility.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • If you’re seeking flexible access, the monthly membership at Cubework - Sugar Land provides 24/7 access to our workspace. Hourly and day passes, however, are typically limited to regular business hours.

  • For spontaneous collaboration and interaction, open desks provide an open and flexible environment. If you prefer a dedicated space with shared community elements, dedicated desks offer a great balance between personal space and interaction.

On the other hand, private offices are best suited for focused work and private interactions. They're ideal for solo workers as well as teams seeking a dedicated space, shielded from distractions.

Choosing the ideal coworking arrangement for you is about aligning your workspace with your work style, team dynamics, and project requirements.

  • Coworking spaces typically have limited storage options, most of which are reserved for members with dedicated desks or private offices. With that said, it’s best to contact the coworking operator directly via the form on the right side of the page to learn about available storage options.

  • Whether you're a day pass holder or a monthly member, you can access most amenities. Meeting rooms do require prior scheduling, and private offices are reserved for those with subscriptions. However, the lounge, kitchen, and breakout spaces are open to all.
