Carlton Staffing responded quickly after I had experienced a long period of rejection letters, no replies, or communication ghosting prior to discovering this agency. Angelita assisted me and advocated for my opportunity almost immediately upon reaching out. I am so thankful; Carlton Staffing is very professional and outlines clear, easily understood expectations as well.

The worst experience with Sara Lozano, continued. #2 She told me she couldn't give me an answer about my vacation, and I explained that I had left my access card in my car for two days and unfortunately didn't have access to it. She responded that the HR department at SPP Products had written a report about my misconduct. I replied that I had absolutely no problems with anyone at the company and could provide references attesting to my good behavior from my supervisors and the presidents of two different companies that work within the same organization. Sara remained silent. I told her that if she and I couldn't reach an understanding, she should find me another recruiter, to which she also said nothing. At the end of the conversation, I asked her to send me an email if she had read it. In it, I wrote that I would not be doing any more accounting work, as I had not been hired to do that job. Nor was I allowed to decorate for birthdays or pick up food deliveries using my own gas and my own car. I reminded her that my job description stated receptionist. I wasn't hired to do decorations, deliveries, or work as an account assistant. Sara replied that she would let me know. Those were her exact words. On Sunday at 8 a.m., Sara called to inform me that SPP Products had let me go, and the reasons she gave were that I had a report for misconduct and tardiness. I replied, thoughtfully, "Okay." Sara forbade me from going to get my personal belongings and told me to take them to Carlton. I told her not to worry, that I would give the card to someone else to take it. Sara said that if I showed up at SPP Products, they would call the police. I immediately knew she was manipulating me to prevent me from going to the company. I'm writing to inform you that, as a receptionist, I observed that SPP uses different agencies to hire staff, and all the people who were fired came to collect their belongings despite working through agencies. (End of conversation with Sara.) I went to SPP Products on Monday at 7:00 a.m., collected my belongings, and said goodbye to the managers, who asked me what had happened. I told them the same thing I told you: SPP informed me that the Carlton agency had reported that I had resigned. At that moment, my world went dark because all my dedication, work, and effort had been for nothing. Sara Lozano lied to me, as well as to SPP Products, the company they have a contract with. She fired me unfairly, abused her power, discriminated against me as a Hispanic woman, and told me she couldn't give me my bonus for accumulated hours because I had resigned. I never resigned. I want to inform you that I would only fulfill my duties as a receptionist and would stop doing accounting, deliveries, and decorating. I'm sharing this so that we Hispanics learn that there will always be people who abuse their power to commit injustices. Sara didn't care if I had to support my children or simply tell me that "if I didn't continue helping with those other tasks, I would lose my job." She did everything by phone so as not to leave any evidence I could use to defend myself. I advise you to only contact them through Gmail so you can defend yourselves, as there are labor laws in the United States for this type of case. Regarding Carlton's comment on my first post, I don't need his luck; God settles accounts in this life.

The worst experience of my life with Sara Lozano. This woman hired me to work as a receptionist from 8 am to 5 pm. Everything was fine until a month later when they started training me in accounting. I did it without complaint so I wouldn't lose my job, and then they assigned me more tasks, such as picking up and ordering food for company members, assisting with accounts receivable by creating accounts and checking customer credit, calling customers to collect late payments, and responding to all customer emails. Besides that, I worked for the accounts payable department, paying bills and creating over 200 invoices every day. I also answered the receptionist phone, opened the door for everyone, made coffee for visitors, and stocked the kitchen with all the necessary supplies. For eight months, I did all this silently without complaining for $16 an hour. Until I asked for seven days of vacation. A week later, I received a call from Sara Lozano saying I was late for work and that if I needed a card to enter the office, I should request it from the general manager. I immediately replied that I arrive no later than 8:10 am and leave work between 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm, in addition to the days I arrive at 7:00 am to decorate the office for people's birthdays, and I don't record those extra hours on my timesheet because I know I won't get paid for them. And all the extra work I do without complaining, plus the fact that she didn't tell me anything about having to help the accounting department. Sara then started telling me I was being too defensive and that I was too demanding by asking for seven days of vacation—which aren't paid!—just so you know, after working for them for eight months. Next review to follow.
