SHIFT Work + Play is a wonderful place! Megan Donavan, the owner, has created an amazing work space for parents and play space for the children. My husband has been using SHIFT for 3-month now. He goes most Fridays from 8:30-11:30am with our toddler, who loves to play with Ms. Maddie and the other children. He gets a good chunk of work done in piece and quiet. The coffee is delicious too! Great place in Frederick, if you are looking to get work done and have your kid/s watched at the same time. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

Working at Shift is a pleasure. Megan has created a great space where parents can be productive and their kiddos are engaged in active play. My daughters' excitement about going to Shift inspires me to look forward to working as well.

SHIFT is a genius mesh of juggling it all! Megan, the owner, has created a wonderful and welcoming space leaving no need unmet for working parents. An attended playroom, and independent playroom, a lacation/feeding room, plenty of desk space, private offices, meeting rooms & phone call space. It’s always clean and organized! And frankly, pretty affordable for what she offers. The playroom attendant Maddie is simply wonderful. My 3 kids have the best time with her, even looking forward to visits! She’s attentive, creative & just lovely. If you’re a work from home parent, running a small business with littles, or just need some time to catch up on house admin stuff while your kids play, definitely check it out! No annoying stairs lugging kids stuff, easy parking which is a Godsend for downtown.. truly can’t speak highly enough!

Definitely recommend to working parents who have the flexibility to work remotely! SHIFT has been a LIFESAVER when I've had gaps in daycare! Not only is there on-site daycare, the working space is friendly and quiet and there are rooms to use when I have a meeting. I'm able to get so much more work done there than if I (tried to) work from home and watched my kids. And, bonus, my kids LOVE going to the playroom with Miss Maddi!
