The Heard Building, built in 1919 by Dwight B. Heard, was the first high rise in Arizona and is an iconic landmark of history and innovation-- a true testament to how far we have come as a city and community. With seven stories that have been home to the Arizona Republic newspaper, Phoenix's first radio stations and more, these walls have helped shape the history of Downtown Phoenix.

Today, the Heard Building has been reimagined as a premier workspace destination for professionals, startups, and growing teams. Inside, you'll find a blend of character and functionality — from beautifully restored architectural details to modern amenities like private offices, collaborative lounges, high-speed internet, secured entry, and fully-equipped conference rooms.

With flexible leasing options, multiple event areas, a training room, storage units and more, the building is located in a walkable location surrounded by restaurants, coffee shops, and light rail access. The Heard Building is more than just an office — it’s a home base for ideas, growth, and community. Whether you're hosting a meeting, building a business, or connecting with downtown energy, this is where Phoenix gets to work!

Book Launch location was lovely but was difficult to find at first and parking was challenging.

We rented office space here for ~11 months. Great place to work and they have all the amenities you need for a great workspace. Will definitely rent from here again in the near future. Staff is great.

As a tenant at The Heard Building for 3 years and I can't say enough good things about the co-working space in downtown Phoenix. I loved working in such an historic building with great common areas and the views of downtown from my office were unforgettable. Natalie is an amazing community manager - super friendly and fun, dialed into the local community, and extremely responsive. Her team was great as well and every thing is well maintained and clean. The central location (literally on Central between Monroe and Adams) is as good as it gets with easy walking distance to light rail, lots of restaurants, and other buildings downtown. It's a perfect location for different types of entrepreneurs or larger businesses and the rent was really reasonable for the location and quality of the space/amenities as well. They also offer conference rooms and other spaces for meetings/trainings. Highly recommend The Heard Building for anyone looking for a co-working space in downtown PHX.
