Excellent spot for brunch. Just a short walk from railway station. Good veggie and vegan options, as well as superb meaty sausages! Laverbread and great coffee too.

A quaint little place, food very filling i had a fish fillet sandwich, my husband had a sausage and bacon sandwich. I also had a mocha with honey, it was quite nice. Prices were reasonable, but I felt the size on the chip bowls weren't very good for the price. The 2 people serving were very polite and patient. I wouldn't go again due to the lack of choice, but thus is my fussiness, but I can understand why others would have a nice meal and like the atmosphere at the place. .

I ended up in Urban HQ because my little girl was participating in a *free* summer holiday dance session in their hall space. What a find! I’m ashamed to say that I’d never been here before and I feel I’ve missed out. It’s like a little calm sanctuary hidden away in the city. I enjoyed a beautifully made latte with a gorgeous courgette, lime & pistachio cake. The cake was fall-apart-fresh. To be honest, I struggled to choose as there were other tempting things such as peanut butter brownies. People around me were ordering hot, savoury food and it looked equally beautiful. My son, who was waiting with me, enjoyed the comfy chair and free WiFi! There were a selection of things/activities on offer for youngsters in the cafe… Diary of a Wimpy Kid books, board games, drawing/colouring materials, knitting equipment etc. I’ll definitely return here.

Don’t you just love it when you stumble upon a foodie place that you didn’t know existed?! I certainly do! This is @hqurbankitchen in Swansea which is a student run cafe/ restaurant with cool, chill vibes - we loved it! There’s plenty to choose from - breakfast, brunch, lunch - a bit of everything! 👏🏻 We got: 🌮 Crispy Haddock Tacos with lime & coriander mayo 🌮 Cajun Chicken Tacos with Chipotle mayo The tacos each came with salad and tortilla chips (such as great price of £10.50 for all that!! 😍) 🍟 Sweet Potato Fries We were so happy with our food - everything was fresh and the service was prompt also! Would highly recommend this to anyone - especially as the menu is so reasonably priced too. 😍🫶🏼 @hqurbankitchen
