I really wanted to love this place, modern and clean throughout but unfortunately the beds are awful. Rock hard bed and flat hard pillows, noise on the street meant I didn't sleep at all. When paying £280 for a night in Manchester, I expect more for this. Check in is 4pm, check out 11am so for that kind of money for a 17 hour stay, check in should definitely be earlier for that price. Location great for the ao arena that we were attending, breakfast area manic, make sure you book as we wasn't made aware of this on booking. The food was OK, but not very warm at all. Staff at breakfast were friendly. Unfortunately I won't stay here again

Love the convenience and locality. Pool, jacuzzi and steam room, The lovely clean appartments fully furnished with all the necessary kitchen equipment including a dishwashet and tabs and washing up liquid and a coffee machine. Staff are helpfull and friendly and with a willingness to help. Restaurant in the evening good was exceptional.

I was super nervous about arriving for our stay having read some of the comments about this place, but I felt I had to write a review after our week staying at City Suites. We stayed as a family of 3 (2 adults & one toddler) in a two bedroom apartment for 4 nights. Every moment from start to finish was fantastic, the staff welcoming, friendly and accommodating - Mollie welcomed us with huge warmth and her and the rest of the team were always so welcoming and helpful throughout. The apartment was generously sized and immaculate - it felt very luxurious for our family. The breakfasts were fantastic, and the staff again were brilliant, really engaging with us and our daughter to make us feel welcome (and providing colouring books / kids menu options for her). The pool & sauna were also such a lovely addition, clean and well kept, me and my daughter swam everyday. The location was excellent, we literally didn't move our car all week and enjoyed exploring the city on the trams. We didn't have any trouble with the noise, we were on level 12 so perhaps the higher apartments are less effected, but can't imagine it would be anything that earplugs couldn't solve.. I think some people read 5* hotel and forget that these are serviced apartments, they have long term tenancy and short term alongside holidaymakers - if you are looking for the ritz, then go pay for it. But the quality of the service & facilities were well worth the money we paid & we would recommend to any family in a heartbeat. Thank you all the team who made our week so special, we loved our stay 🤍

This is not 5 Star I was there for 1 week and my room never got clean or my bed and never got changed and when I asked the reception they was charging me £9 and I'm still waiting for my deposit back and it 2 week ago
