The space is modern and conveniently located, but there are a few things to be aware of if you’re considering a Flex Desk membership.
The open-plan layout means the kitchen is quite close to both the flex desks and some resident desk areas, so it can get quite noisy at times, making it hard to focus. It would really help if the workspace and communal areas were separated a bit more to reduce distractions.
The Wi-Fi, advertised at up to 50 Mbps, rarely reaches that speed. On several occasions I had to leave early because video calls wouldn’t stay stable. If you depend on long meetings or interviews, it’s worth having an alternative option.
Lastly, I gave notice in early October after moving out of the city. I completely understand and respect the one-month notice policy, and I was happy to pay for the full month of October even though I couldn’t access the space. However, being charged an additional four days into November felt excessive, especially when I wasn’t using the premises at all. I requested a small goodwill adjustment, but unfortunately it was declined.
Overall, AvenueHQ St Peter’s Square offers a pleasant environment and good concept, but the noise levels, internet reliability, and rigid application of policies may not suit everyone looking for genuine flexibility.
