This is a review of my experience trying to rent, not of renting through the agency. Over the past month, I've had quite a few experiences with random agents, and my experience speaking with Collby was one of the best. What I personally appreciate is the transparency around the room/house - he doesn't pretend everything is perfect; he lets you know how things are. And when asked questions about the property etc... you get straight up answers, and they are always replied withing the same day - unlike with other agents that beat around the bush and avoid hard questions. And all of my questions were answered, in contrast to other agents at different companies, which usually try to fit you in their little sales funnel with their little form that usually makes no sense. I ultimately didn't rent because the position of the room in the house wasn't right for me, and the second room had a roof window rather than a window in the wall. And although I haven't rented through the agency, based on my experience with Collby, I would give them a shot and see how the rental would go.
