On February 15th, THRIVE | Coworking – a flexible workspace operator dedicated to community service and philanthropy – opened up new doors in the city of Greenville, South Carolina, at 104 S. Main St. This new THRIVE location is available for events for non-members and professional groups, nonprofits and auto industry vendors. It has 70 private offices, seven conference rooms and an inviting shared coworking space.

THRIVE | Greenville is located in the center of Greenville’s downtown area and offers stunning views from the eighth story of the city’s famous Poinsett Plaza. Reminiscent of a European city, the pedestrian-friendly neighborhood offers restaurants, retail establishments and entertainment venues. The building is in a great location for business travelers since it conveniently links to The Westin Poinsett. Falls Park on the Reedy is also easily accessible by foot.

THRIVE takes great pleasure in its community-building initiatives, which foster an environment of cooperation and encouragement while providing members with the chance to bond and exchange skills and knowledge. High-speed internet, private phone booths, endless coffee, tea, and snacks, as well as weekly catered breakfasts, lunches and snacks, are all available at the new location in Greenville.

Together with officials from the Greenville Chamber of Commerce, THRIVE Chief Revenue Officer Chris Smith began the celebration by outlining the company’s community-focused mindset and its future goals for THRIVE | Greenville. The grand opening of the new space included tours, games, food, beverages, raffles and networking throughout the afternoon.

Smith said “Greenville’s Poinsett Plaza has exactly the kind of atmosphere THRIVE likes to set up in. It’s vibrant, walkable, with lots of dining and shopping options, all supported by a dynamic and creative population that has seen rapid economic development over the last 20 years.” He also followed up by saying that “THRIVE is able to support the area’s large companies with downtown office space, as well as hybrid workers and solopreneurs looking for flexible options.”

THRIVE | Greenville is the operator’s second location in South Carolina, following the one in Charleston. The brand also spans other coworking spaces across Alabama, Georgia, Montana, North Carolina and Ohio.

Studies indicate that the flexible work model is here to stay, following pandemic disruptions to American workplaces and work practices. As such, THRIVE is poised to meet the requirement for professional office space for remote workers who want to get away from the distractions and isolation of a home office, as well as for solopreneurs or other types of remote/hybrid professionals. THRIVE serves as a hub for workers from larger companies who wish to reduce travel time without sacrificing team communication and engagement.
