I was visiting from out of town, but needed to work remotely a couple days. Trying to have online meetings and focus on work as a visitor in someone else's home can be tough. I found Workspace at Bishops Woods and it checked every box! Private office (for online meetings), high speed internet, a kitchen, and a professional atmosphere, all at a reasonable price. The manager is proactive, responsive and extremely helpful. I will definitely return here if I have to work from the area again!

This week, I was visiting my mother-in-law with my son (we live in another state). Last year, when we visited, I tried working from her home—but it was a disaster. My son constantly needed me, refusing to accept that I had to work (it’s hard to negotiate with a one-year-old who wants to be with his mama and is ready to fight for his rights). Two dogs barked nonstop, and the internet couldn’t keep up with my Zoom calls. This time, I decided to look for coworking spaces. Unfortunately, in the Milwaukee area, most either opened after 9 AM (my calls start at 8:30) or didn’t offer daily rentals. Then, I found Workspace at Bishop Woods - and it was a game changer. I had my own private office with a big window, fast internet, and access to a kitchen stocked with coffee, tea, a fridge, and a microwave. There were also several great places to eat or grab takeout just a few minutes away. On top of that, everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming, including people from other offices I chatted with near the water cooler. Most of them were long-term tenants—I think I was the only one renting for just a week. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a short-term coworking option. It’s also a fantastic solution for people who primarily work from home but occasionally need a professional space to meet clients—like a self-employed accountant. Or if you need a permanent co-working space. I’ll definitely be using it again next time I visit my mother-in-law and need to get work done.

I have been attending this workspace for almost a year at a dedicated desk. It has been the perfect setup for me - plenty of room, free coffee, water and a fridge to store lunch, and I can securely leave my external monitor overnight. The space is clean and easy to take calls in either out loud or their conference room. I would recommend Workspace at Bishops Woods to anyone looking to for another co-working option.

I have had an office at Workspace in Bishops Wood for over 2 years. It is a quiet professional atmosphere where I can be very productive. I have access to a conference room, kitchen, and break area. I prefer Workspace to working from home.
At Workspace at Bishops Woods, those looking for a workspace for an entire day, Meeting Rooms are available. In addition, Private Offices and Dedicated Desks can also be booked on a monthly basis.
Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with Workspace at Bishops Woods.
The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.
A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.
It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.
Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.
It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Workspace at Bishops Woods, who is more than happy to help out.
Yes, you can certainly take a tour of the space before signing up for a membership. In fact, it’s encouraged, to help you get a feel for what your workday will look like. Schedule a tour here by filling out the form along with the date and time when you would like to visit the space and we’ll see you there.
