Review of Silver Celebrate Apartment Community
I generally do not write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience due to the lack of response from the property management. I was a resident at Silver Celebrate Apartments for one year, and during that time, I experienced ongoing noise issues and unprofessional management.
From the day we moved in, other residents warned us about poor communication from the office and persistent noise problems. Unfortunately, those concerns proved to be accurate. The apartment above us consistently produced excessive noise—stomping, running, and dogs moving back and forth at all hours.
Despite multiple emails and calls to the office, I rarely received a response. When I finally did, I was advised to contact the Fredericksburg Police Department’s non-emergency line to report the noise issue. This was disappointing, as I expected property management to handle these types of concerns directly.
At one point, after lightly tapping the ceiling with my cane to signal the noise disturbance, the community officer came to our door and informed us that we could be fined if the residents upstairs complained. This made an already stressful situation worse and left us feeling unsupported.
The apartments themselves are not well insulated—sound travels easily through the floors, which have no carpeting in the main living areas. Despite these challenges, we paid our rent on time every month. After moving out, we received a $411 charge for what management described as duplicate rent fees, even though our prorated rent for October had already been paid and our balance was current when we vacated on October 24.
For prospective tenants, I strongly recommend reviewing all lease terms carefully and being aware that communication from management may be limited. While the property looks nice at first glance, my overall experience was disappointing due to the lack of responsiveness and support from the office.
