Kongo has been a really great place for me to focus. It's a spacious, loft-style space with roomy desks and lovely, chill people. Folks take some calls from their desks here and there, but it's mostly quiet or we take turns playing our music. There's also a lunch table and a few couches if you need some separation. The 24/7 access has been huge for me, as I needed a place for nights and weekends. If you're looking for a solid neighborhood spot to get some work done and meet interesting people, I can't recommend it enough.

Spacious with a creative atmosphere. Home to a group of unpretentious, friendly independent creatives. It's an active workspace that isn't dull, but it's also conducive to focus and concentration. Can't beat the location.

This was the first working space that made me truly feel at home. I moved to New York without knowing many people, and I was welcomed as soon as I walked into Kongo. The location is very convenient, the space is gorgeous and inspiring, and the people are the best bunch around. I loved going into the office every day and Kongo will always be my home office whenever I am in New York. Thank you for the experience!

Kongo was a fantastic experience for my small, growing company and our two employees who called it home for two years. Upon joining, I instantly felt welcomed into the work community and made some great friends in the process. The space itself is vibrant, open, and interesting, rather than the sterile environment you find at most shared office spaces. The quality of professionals sharing the space is top notch, most of whom were always keen to share insight and advice from their experience, often from an expert's point-of-view. I can't say enough good things about Kongo and the people who make it what it is.

I had a truly fantastic shared work space experience. Unlike a traditional office, this coworking space was full of members who work with a range of different companies, ventures, and projects. It was a joy to go to come in everyday and learn something new. All around great energy, great people great experience!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Kongo has a 24/7 availability that comes with a monthly membership. Hourly and day passes usually only allow for access during regular business hours.

  • Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with Kongo.

  • The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.

A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.

It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.

  • Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.

It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Kongo, who is more than happy to help out.

  • Yes, you can certainly take a tour of the space before signing up for a membership. In fact, it’s encouraged, to help you get a feel for what your workday will look like. Reach out here to set up a time to come and see the space.
