I've rented a Dvora colab office space at 155 2nd for over a year and it has been a great fit for my schedule and needs. I chose a private, locked office as I needed to keep documents on-site. But I've seen individuals working from time to time at the open desks and I see how those desks could be convenient for people who don't need a private space. Pros for me have been: easy access anytime with my keycard, including early mornings and weekends; a secure, clean space where I always felt comfortable coming to work; Coffee machine! It has been so nice to go into the lobby and make myself a latte or green tea when I need a pick me up. A major time saver, too, when I'm in the middle of a project and don't have time to run down the street for a coffee; Easy access to printer to make copies, print or scan documents; Great location! The office is close to amenities like restaurants, coffee shops and a grocery store. So even though I often bring my lunch and there is a coffee maker on-site, it's been so nice to have a plethora of places within easy walking distance if I wanted to grab lunch or just needed a walk; AND friendly Dvora staff. While some of the individuals who are renting the offices are small business owners or consultants using the Colab space, there are many Dvora employees who use the space as well and I've enjoyed being on first-name basis with them. Before COVID, I rented WeWork and Regis office spaces in Manhattan. The Dvora colab space is smaller, so there is more interaction with others when you want it. I've really enjoyed the collegiality. I'm moving across the country due to a job change and sadly giving up my office space. But if I were staying in Jersey City, I would absolutely continue working out of Dvora Colab.
