I bought some day passes here as I was in town only for a part of the week. Good sunlight, welcoming community, and every hot desk had monitors you could easily plug into. Also had little snacks for purchase which I appreciated. It was well-located, with easy access to cafes and places for lunch.

I came to Workantile seeking a boost in productivity after six years of working from home. I found that, but more importantly, I found my "third place", the kind of community that people have long found in churches and clubs. Workantilers coach me on my hobbies, lend me tools, invite me to play pickleball. They staged mock interviews during my job search and brought meals to my home when I was recovering from surgery. Many places have fast WiFi and good coffee. Workantile, a member-run, democratically-governed, not-for-profit community, fills my life with friendship and cheer.

Workantile is a very cozy and friendly environment. Everyone is super friendly and helpful, and all of their processes are really clearly outlined on their website. Working from home can be awesome, but if after years you feel like you’re isolated at home, definitely give them a shot.

Have been working remotely for some 12 years and finally decided that I would be happier in a co-working space (was just done with my home office, coffee shops and libraries) so joined in August 2024. Love working in a social space and am actually more productive at work.

Inviting facility and amenities. Phone booths and meeting room available, but only for infrequent calls. Might be best for mostly heads-down work. Those in constant calls or meetings could disturb others. Could benefit from more enclosed 4-person pods surrounded by sound-absorbing partitions. Free bus pass a major bonus. Very community oriented culture unlike other places with a more corporate feel.
221 North Main Street has a 24/7 availability that comes with a monthly membership. Hourly and day passes usually only allow for access during regular business hours.
Yes, you can certainly take a tour of the space before signing up for a membership. In fact, it’s encouraged, to help you get a feel for what your workday will look like. Reach out here to set up a time to come and see the space.
The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.
A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.
It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.
Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.
It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Workantile, who is more than happy to help out.
Storage in coworking spaces can be limited, with most of it reserved for members with dedicated desks and private offices. However, you can reach out to the coworking operator using the form on the right side of the page to see what options are currently available.
