I have been a member since the inception of Cahoots. There is no better place in the Ann Arbor area to co-work, work remotely, or build a business. Great space and community.

Great place to get work done. Good balance between community/people and the details of a good work space.

I've been member for a few years. As a solo entrepreneur I really appreciate the workspace and my clients love the conference rooms and amenities.

We rented Cahoots Cafe in Ann Arbor for our GramJam event, and I truly cannot say enough great things about the experience. From start to finish, everything was seamless. The staff was absolutely amazing — attentive, proactive, and incredibly accommodating. A huge shoutout to Tyler and Michelle, who were not only professional but also genuinely fun and easy to work with. They made planning and execution feel effortless. The space itself is fantastic. They have their own AV setup, which made presentations and programming incredibly smooth, and there are multiple cool conference room spaces that work perfectly for breakouts, smaller meetings, or team collaboration. Another thing that really stood out was the community. The folks who cowork there are SOOOO incredibly nice and smart — it created such a welcoming, inspiring environment for our team. The location is also a major win — super convenient to hotels, restaurants, bars, and everything downtown. It made logistics for our team extremely easy. And one of the best highlights? It’s also a cafe — and the coffee is AMAZING. ☕ This was a huge bonus and kept everyone energized throughout the event. If you're ever in Ann Arbor and looking to host a team offsite, event, or even just cowork for a few days, I highly recommend Cahoots Cafe. We’ll absolutely be back. Fantastic team. Great space. Incredible community. Amazing coffee. 10/10 experience. 🙌

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Whether you're a day pass holder or a monthly member, you can access most amenities. Meeting rooms do require prior scheduling, and private offices are reserved for those with subscriptions. However, the lounge, kitchen, and breakout spaces are open to all. Complimentary services are also available regardless of membership tier, while ancillary services can be purchased separately or negotiated with Cahoots.

  • For spontaneous collaboration and interaction, open desks provide an open and flexible environment. If you prefer a dedicated space with shared community elements, dedicated desks offer a great balance between personal space and interaction.

On the other hand, private offices are best suited for focused work and private interactions. They're ideal for solo workers as well as teams seeking a dedicated space, shielded from distractions.

Choosing the ideal coworking arrangement for you is about aligning your workspace with your work style, team dynamics, and project requirements.

  • At Cahoots, Meeting Rooms can be booked by the hour. For those looking for a workspace for an entire day, Day Passs and Meeting Rooms are also available.

  • Yes, you can certainly take a tour of the space before signing up for a membership. In fact, it’s encouraged, to help you get a feel for what your workday will look like. Reach out here to set up a time to come and see the space.

  • Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.

It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Cahoots, who is more than happy to help out.
