DANCE INSTRUCTORS AND INFLUENCERS BE AWARE IF THEY BOOK YOU FOR ONE OF THEIR EVENTS!!!!!! I was asked to teach a dance class for one of their events and I gave them my rate. They agreed to it with no issue. I had it in my calendar for about three weeks and I kept confirming with them that I was still doing it every time they asked. The day before the event I got a call asking again if I would be there because someone supposedly said I was not doing it anymore. I have no idea who would have said that but I explained very clearly that it was on my calendar, we had already confirmed it, and I would be there. She then asked me if I could make a video (the night before the event) and send it to them for promotional purposes. I went out of my way and booked a studio that night to create content for them to use at the last minute. On the day of the event, just two hours before it started, I got a call saying they were canceling. They also knew I lived an hour and a half away, so I was already ready to leave. I had another teaching job offer that same night that would have paid me ten times more, but I turned it down because I had already committed to their event and I do not back out of my obligations. I texted her and said it was fine that they were canceling but I still needed to be paid because I had other obligations I could have taken, I had spent time making choreography, and I had also paid to book studio space to prepare content for them. Her response was basically that they would not be paying me because I did not promote the class for them. I was booked strictly as an instructor, not as a promoter. I was never asked to promote and promotion falls under my content creator work which is separate and would cost extra. Since then I have not heard a response back. The entire situation is completely unprofessional. If the owner is really the so-called millionaire they claim to be then paying the people they book should not be a problem. A good business honors its commitments and respects the time and work of the talent they hire. Please be very cautious before working with this business or booking here.

Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with The Bakery Cowork.
The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.
A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.
It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.
Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.
It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with The Bakery Cowork, who is more than happy to help out.
