Open Gov Hub is a 20,000 sq. ft dynamic meeting place in the heart of downtown DC.
Our mission is to open up governments and empower citizens around the world by offering collaborative programs and shared resources, including a themed, world-class coworking space and many other professional services. We are the world's first innovation hub focused on the theme of open government - promoting transparency, accountability and civic engagement worldwide.
We also run near-daily events (from networking to educational and professional development sessions) that help members build skills, connect, learn and work together, increasing their individual and shared social impact.
We expanded this Spring and are now welcoming new members and are excited to have you visit our brand new, world-class space!
We have 178 desks, 35 collaboration spaces (meeting rooms equipped with new AV and whiteboards), all height-adjustable desks, a Media Lab, Wellness Room, and two outdoor spaces!
IMPORTANT: Please sign up for a Deskpass with us at least 24 hours (1 full business day) in advance, so we can make sure everything is ready for your arrival! :)
Open Gov Hub is located in central downtown DC.
We are within walking distance to ALL Metro lines. The nearest Metro station is McPherson Square (blue/orange lines, 6 min walk), but you can also reach us from Mt Vernon/Convention Center (green/yellow) or Metro Center (red), both a 10 min walk.
Daily car parking and bike parking are also available within our building's garage (free bike parking, up to $17/day for car garage parking). Hourly street parking is also available on 13th St.
