This company operates with a total lack of transparency and unethical billing practices. I signed up and was charged a $71 fee I was aware of—but was never informed of an additional $215 upfront charge. When I discovered it, I immediately canceled the same day—before using any services. I never went to the place. Despite this, they refused to issue a refund and falsely claimed “its out of their control once I sign the contract” extremely predatory. This is misleading and possibly unlawful under California consumer protection laws. Heads up their “no refund” policy does not override our legal rights when cancel immediately and you never use what you paid for. I will be filing a complaint with the California Department of Consumer Affairs and plan to escalate to small claims court if this isn’t resolved. Avoid this location at all costs. don’t let them take advantage of you too.

Extremely predatory business practices. My partner and I were charged fees we never agreed to, and the actual cost was completely different from what was originally communicated. Despite never attending or using the coworking space, they somehow provided “evidence” to our bank that led to our dispute being reversed. Which makes no sense, since we never even set foot in the space. It’s been over six weeks, and we’re still trying to resolve this. The entire experience has been sketchy and frustrating. Really wish we had seen the reviews beforehand. So in short, IF YOU’RE READING THIS, DO NOT GO HERE.

This is for ECCO Living or Berk (owner ). Probably the worst experience I've ever had. The sink was cracked, and the room was dirty. I sent documentation, and before moving in, they said they would clean the carpet. They only did it after the second week and then charged me when I left, taking my security deposit despite leaving the place in better condition. I also learned that they are known for being sketchy and have had to rebrand multiple times due to their treatment of clients. They quoted me $1,400 but charged me much more, claiming they don't update their website. The contract was unreasonable, and their team was extremely rude. When moving out, they sent multiple text messages, which was intrusive. I rented this place out of urgency and would never work with them again. I own several properties and was attending grad school, and I've never treated people the way these owners do. It is ridiculous. Be careful of this property company.

I detest inconvenience to leave negative feedback but now I understand why people often express negative feedback about Spaces. I've held a membership since 2021 but haven't utilized it much due to having another business/office. In February 2024, their website displayed a 40% discount promotion on memberships for 12-month and 24-month terms. Wanting to confirm if this applied to my renewal rather than creating an additional account, I contacted Spaces. Krista assured me that it was indeed an updated renewal at a discounted rate with only longer terms. Hence, I proceeded to pay the updated renewal fee of $259.72 on 2/2/24. Shortly after making the payment, I received an invoice for March 2023 ($269) with a new account number via email, indicating that a new account had been created instead of updating the existing one. I promptly reached out to Krista regarding this discrepancy, and she acknowledged her misunderstanding of the membership promotion. She informed me that she had escalated the issue to her account manager for resolution. Yesterday, I followed up with another call to inquire about any updates, but Krista informed me that she was still awaiting a response. In the meantime, an auto-payment of $269 for March 2024 was processed on 2/15/24, despite more than two weeks having passed since I initially raised the issue. This extended delay in customer service is well below par. I've encountered similar issues with Spaces in the past, such as being charged for coffee and tea services on my credit card despite never adding them to my account. Despite numerous emails and calls, the refund process was excessively delayed. As a business owner myself, I find this level of customer service unacceptable and detrimental to retaining customers. The slow and unsatisfactory response from Spaces further exacerbates the situation.
