My original passionate review for this venue was taken down, as were all other reviews for this space. So I'm taking it upon myself this Giving Tuesday to help out anyone looking for a place like this to host their event. I cannot stress this enough: DO NOT HOLD YOUR EVENT HERE! Yoann is a scammer. He ended up charging us an additional $1000 for going a little past 10pm to clean up, but the event ran an hour late because he was not present and we had tech issues. The tech was essential to the event as it was a screening. I even considered taking legal action and spoke with a lawyer. I won't bore you with all the ways Yoann wronged me like I did in the original review, but the mere fact I am reviving this review three whole years later should speak volumes about what it's like to throw your event at Dots. I suggest you host your event literally anywhere else.
