Our office moved to The Root six months ago and it has been the best experience! I have been so impressed with the amenities and member benefits provided by The Root. The coffee bar, the free beer, the meeting rooms, and the dozens of activities hosted by the team makes going to work fun! It feels like a true community and I have met so many great people. As a hybrid worker, just getting out of the house a few days a week to work at The Root has been amazing!

I was here for a meeting and got here a little early. This was such a beautiful and thoughtful space to be in, and I’m looking forward to my next meeting here. Cjay was very friendly and welcoming to me while I was waiting, and it was overall a fantastic experience!

My team and I love working at The Root and feel right at home here. The staff—CJ and Kelsey—are great and go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels comfortable, included, and welcomed. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and full of good energy. And the amenities? Top-notch. Everything here is geared toward making your workday better. Community events, beer, coffee, snacks, and more. We are so grateful to be here!

I have a dedicated desk at The Root and have loved the space. The staff is professional and helpful, they make everything so easy. With some free snacks, free coffee, and free beer (after 3:30 for members), they make sure that we are well fed. There are 4 conferences rooms, plenty of phone booths for a private conversation, a wellness room, and kitchen stocked with everything you might need for your day at work. I highly recommend the atmosphere and space for businesses who need an office space and want someone else to take care of most of the building details.
3537 North Steele Boulevard has a 24/7 availability that comes with a monthly membership. Hourly and day passes usually only allow for access during regular business hours.
Yes, you can certainly take a tour of the space before signing up for a membership. In fact, it’s encouraged, to help you get a feel for what your workday will look like. Schedule a tour here by filling out the form along with the date and time when you would like to visit the space and we’ll see you there.
Storage in coworking spaces can be limited, with most of it reserved for members with dedicated desks and private offices. However, you can reach out to the coworking operator using the form on the right side of the page to see what options are currently available.
Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with The Root Coworking.
The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.
