I attended a conference at the All Nations Centre today and it was a brilliant experience from start to finish. There’s plenty of parking available, which made arrival really easy, and every member of staff I spoke to was polite, friendly, and welcoming. The welcome area is large and spacious, and the whole place smells pleasant, which creates a really positive first impression as soon as you walk in. The venue itself is spacious and well-suited for large events — there were around 250 people there today and it still felt comfortable, with large round tables set out and plenty of room to move around. The facilities are excellent, with a stage, overhead projector, air conditioning, and heating to keep the environment just right throughout the day. The toilets are spotless, which really reflects how well the venue is maintained. The catering was absolutely spectacular and they catered thoughtfully for different dietary needs. The food selection was generous and varied, including sandwiches (egg mayo, mixed cheese, brie and cranberry, and ham and mustard), crisps, cheese and crackers, fruit, chicken kebabs with a sour cream dressing, samosas, a range of fresh cakes, fresh pastries, and hot drinks on arrival and during breaks, along with biscuits. The catering staff were amazing — polite, friendly, and attentive, regularly coming around to collect cups and plates once people had finished. Overall, I couldn’t fault a single thing. A fantastic venue for conferences and events, and I would highly recommend it.
