I had a very poor experience at Nexus Business Centre. After rearranging my work and driving almost 40 miles for an appointment there, I was met by a receptionist who was dismissive and rude. Her entire attitude was that she “couldn’t help” because she didn’t work for the organisation I was visiting, and when asked for the appropriate people she lied over the phone saying I didn’t want to speak to her! Whether or not she worked for the specific organisation, she is the receptionist for the building who is seen as the first point of contact. Their role is to greet visitors, provide support and direct them appropriately. Instead, her attitude escalated an already stressful situation. If reception staff at Nexus speak to people like this, it reflects very poorly on the centre as a whole!!! Front-of-house staff set the tone for visitors, and basic courtesy and professionalism should be the minimum standard!!!!

6 Darby Close has a 24/7 availability that comes with a monthly membership. Hourly and day passes usually only allow for access during regular business hours.
Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with Nexus Business Centre.
The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.
A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.
It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.
Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.
It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Nexus Business Centre, who is more than happy to help out.
Yes, you can certainly take a tour of the space before signing up for a membership. In fact, it’s encouraged, to help you get a feel for what your workday will look like. Schedule a tour here by filling out the form along with the date and time when you would like to visit the space and we’ll see you there.
