I have been a customer at this location for more than two years and have always paid on time. Unfortunately, my experience with the management at this specific site has been increasingly negative and stressful.
Over this period, I was overcharged several times. Although I raised the issue promptly each time, the corrections took far longer than they should have. Refunds were delayed, even after I specifically requested that the amounts be credited to my account instead. Because these issues kept repeating, I eventually had no choice but to stop the direct debit to prevent further incorrect withdrawals.
What has been most upsetting is the treatment I received as a long-standing customer. Instead of acknowledging and resolving what I believe were clear invoicing errors, I was placed into arrears immediately and pressured to pay invoices that I had already flagged as incorrect. When I challenged this, I was told that my office would be shown to potential new clients and prepared for re-letting even though my confidential documents were still inside and the billing issues had not been resolved. This has caused me significant stress and has negatively affected my business.
From my personal experience, the senior management at this particular site has handled the situation very poorly. I do not blame the company as a whole, but the way leadership at this location has treated me has shown a lack of professionalism, understanding, and respect. It feels as though they were more willing to push me out as a client than to address the problems properly.
I have also noticed that several other long-term businesses that used to operate from this site have now relocated many of them moving to Future Works next door. While I cannot speak for their reasons, seeing multiple established tenants leave over time certainly reinforced my concerns about how this site is being run.
Based on my experience, I strongly encourage anyone considering renting office space to look at other Spaces locations. Unfortunately, this has been the most challenging and poorly managed workplace environment I have dealt with.
