What a treasure of a coffee house♥️ We went for afternoon tea ( which also has a vegetarian option) and from the moment we walked through the door the whole experience was fantastic. Wendy and her son Calum are friendly and welcoming with an obvious love for what they have created. The last afternoon tea I had was at Coombe Abbey and I can truthfully say this was better for a third of the cost (£32 for two of us). Everything is home made by Wendy and tastes incredible. There was so much, we took a box home each! The cafe house is also a home to a wide range of classes / meet ups from regular knit and natter and a board games afternoon with coffee and cake to wreath making and folk painting and much more. A separate room at the back of the coffee house gives an area for events and still has the happy vibe of the main area. On our rainy Thursday afternoon the coffee house was buzzing with folk and a great atmosphere. I have already purchased two more afternoon teas as Christmas gifts for friends knowing they will absolutely love it and I will definitely be a regular.

First visit, I was attending a craft event . Wonderful hot chocolate as recommended by another customer. Tasty fresh cakes. Next time I will sample sandwiches/breakfasts

Got takeaway coffee and cakes. Cakes were wonderful (cloves in the carrot cake adds a delightful fragrance) and the cups/lids are compostable. Wonderful.

What a warm welcoming cafe! Clean, tidy and well laid out with plenty of tables and comfortable settees. There are games and books along with plenty of toys for the children. The coffee was first class and the food was tasty and well priced. The staff are friendly and accommodating warmly welcoming me into their cafe. There were locals doing crafts in the corner and families enjoying time together. There is lots of activities advertised for anyone looking to spend time with others. Overall I really enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend it.

Pukka food, lovely staff and activities for the kids! I’m not about that greasy spoon life and this little gem offers brekkie that’s not swimming in grease and much healthier options if that’s if you want! I’ll be back!
