There is a lot of confusion about bookings here which can be difficult if you have a call scheduled or a deadline to hit.

The perfect set up for our mobile office. The team is friendly and make some of the best coffee in East London. It's always clean and tranquil, the perfect workspace away from home.

They're running a co-working space with no on-site staff and no contact number, yet their booking system won't allow me to amend or cancel the booking that I paid for, they haven't replied to the emails I sent to three different addresses about amending the booking (which I started sending 4 days before the booked date) and they didn't even send me the Salto key that I would have needed to use to access the building. There are two phone numbers on their website: the number for the building manager, and the number for the parent company, Parklane Group. I called the building manager the day before the booked date. She is not a Workinc employee (she works for another subsidiary of Parklane Group), so she doesn't have access to Workinc's booking system. She told me that Workinc have no on-site staff and no phone number. So she said she would put a note on the system, telling them to contact me, and suggested the third email address that I contacted, to no avail. I also tried going to the building later that day, because I found it hard to believe that there's no one there who could amend a booking. Incredibly, it turned out to be true. I called Parklane Group at about 11am on the morning of the booked date. By this point I'd decided to just cancel the booking, because Workinc's customer service is worse than poor -- it's non-existent. Their terms and conditions state that you can cancel bookings for free up to 24 hours in advance. Given that I'd been struggling to get in touch with them for 4 days, they should have had no problem with cancelling. But the person I spoke to was unable to do anything, and didn't even seem to know who could. So she took my contact details and said she would get back to me. I hadn't heard from anyone by 3.50pm that day, so I called them back. I called three times over the next 15 minutes, and no one answered. After all this, I ended up filing a dispute with my bank, in the hope that they will reimburse me. The bank told me that Workinc had actually set a recurring purchase, allowing them to collect payments from my account every month. I had only booked one day's use of a hot desk, and their website says that this is a non-recurring payment, so I was shocked to hear this, and can't tell if they would have continued to charge me. In any case, the bank cancelled the recurring purchase and will hopefully reimburse me. In the worst case, I'll just lose £18. Still, there are better ways to throw away money. E.g. at least you know what you're getting when you chuck your cash in the bin.
Open desks may be the ideal choice if you thrive in a collaborative environment and value the opportunity to connect with fellow coworkers. Dedicated desks, on the other hand, provide a designated space with shared community amenities, catering to those who seek a balance between privacy and interaction.
For ultimate focus and private interactions, private offices are best for solo individuals and teams that seek uninterrupted productivity.
Selecting the most suitable workspace for you typically hinges on your work style and preferences, but it can also be determined by the type of work that you do, its duration, and whether you work alone or in a team.
While storage in coworking spaces is generally limited, and mostly reserved for members with dedicated desks or private offices, you should always check with the coworking operator about additional storage solutions. Fill out the form on the right side of the page to reach out to them and learn all about the available options.
Flexibility is the cornerstone of coworking, so you always have the option to adjust your workspace to match your current needs. With month-to-month memberships, you can effortlessly upgrade, downgrade, or even switch between different coworking plans.
While the standard practice is to change memberships only once the current one ends, Workinc may be able to offer additional options, so it’s best to reach out to their staff directly.
