Highly recommend the Department. It’s such a beautifully designed co-working space, where every detail feels deliberately chosen. We started with our presentation in the cosy cinema room, then continued our discussion around the perfectly suited round table in the meeting room.

What an excellent space! I've attended networking events, used for business meetings, the co-working space and even for a video shoot. Great location, parking on the doorstep and within walking distance of the city centre. First class service and great attention to detail. Highly recommend.

We absolutely love The Department, hands down the best managed office space we’ve ever worked in. The building itself is stunning, modern, beautifully designed, and an absolute pleasure to spend time in every day. But what truly sets The Department apart is the people. The team are genuinely brilliant, friendly, proactive, and always willing to go the extra mile. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and they create such a welcoming, professional atmosphere. If you’re looking for a workspace that combines an incredible environment with exceptional service, this is the place. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Department is a brilliant co-working space, we have been here for years and the staff are always super helpful whenever we need anything, specially during the many events we host and need various spaces for them, they always lend a hand! The community is also great at Department, plenty of great businesses to meet, and Amy and Nicole always do their very best to support us!

Leeds Dock has a 24/7 availability that comes with a monthly membership. Hourly and day passes usually only allow for access during regular business hours.

Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with Department.

The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.
A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.

Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.
It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Department, who is more than happy to help out.
