Read fully: I stayed at village hotel 15/01/2025-17/01/2026 with my partner. On the day of arrival to the hotel the receptionist checked us in and also charged us £15 for late checkout on departure day. I did not approve this and the receptionist just added this on. I got an email stating that there had been an update to my booking and I had to raise this with the manager the next day. This was resolved but was very frustrating as they should not be charging me for services that I do not approve. I also asked the receptionist for oat milk (which they do have as I have stayed here before and requested it). The receptionist said that they cannot give me the oat milk. I spoke to a member of staff the next day and they claimed that the “staff should have just gone to the kitchen and got you some.” My partner and I then go to our room (which felt like a maze to get to) and there were only one set of towels in the room. We booked the room for 2 but was accommodated for one. When I showered the water was leaking out on to the toilet floor and reaching the room carpet. As a result I requested a new room as the floor was flooded. (I have a video of this) We were then moved from a club room to a family room. When we got into the room there were dirty marks on the bedding’s (I have a video) and also, the room and corridor smelt of weed. This was not a pleasant experience. It truly felt like I was staying in a university accommodation. On top of all of this the noise from our Neighbours was loud and I had to let the receptionist know. On day 2, I spoke to a manager about the issues that we faced on the first day and to be honest he listened to my concern but I wasn’t sure as to how he was making it right. There were no comments like “I’m sorry that you’ve had an unpleasant experience…” he just said “okay I’ll have to check on the system.” I told the manager the issues then continued with my day. I then returned to my room in the late evening and there was noise from another family in the rooms next door. There were noise from children and parents. I could hear their conversations and I struggled to sleep. I eventually ended up sleeping but then got woken up around 7am by the noise of kids crying and parents speaking loudly. Overall, I felt like I stayed in a university accommodation and had a terrible experience. I also felt that the manager did not take my concern seriously on day 1. Andrew and Michael were great and very positive when I spoke to them so thank you guys! I have requested for my money back but let’s see if I end up hearing back 😅

Lovely Hotel and location but the rooms are not at all sound proofed which let's it down. Party in private room till 1am - could hear every song from my room. Not ideal for sleeping 🙈

Review edited due to a bad night's stay occurring currently in January 2026. Our room was situated above one of their private function rooms. The level of noise from the music could be heard clearly, over the tv being on. Myself and my partner went to the reception just after 11.30pm to complain about the noise. Only to be told that the function is set to finish at 1am! So we just had to tolerate the noise. The chap at reception told us they were fully booked, so moving room wouldn't be an option. He offered to go and ask them to turn the bass down, to see if they would do that. It'll be interesting if anyone else on the 1st floor complains in the morning as well. Unacceptable that paying guests have had to tolerate noise over sleep. This has now spoilt any positive experience I've had with Village Hotels in the past. Video attached is myself filming the wall that faces the outside, towards the loud building.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Open desks may be the ideal choice if you thrive in a collaborative environment and value the opportunity to connect with fellow coworkers. Dedicated desks, on the other hand, provide a designated space with shared community amenities, catering to those who seek a balance between privacy and interaction.

For ultimate focus and private interactions, private offices are best for solo individuals and teams that seek uninterrupted productivity.

Selecting the most suitable workspace for you typically hinges on your work style and preferences, but it can also be determined by the type of work that you do, its duration, and whether you work alone or in a team.

  • While storage in coworking spaces is generally limited, and mostly reserved for members with dedicated desks or private offices, you should always check with the coworking operator about additional storage solutions. Fill out the form on the right side of the page to reach out to them and learn all about the available options.

  • VWorks - Coventry operates during regular business hours, which are listed above. For any requests or requirements outside of these hours, please contact the coworking operator directly.

  • Flexibility is the cornerstone of coworking, so you always have the option to adjust your workspace to match your current needs. With month-to-month memberships, you can effortlessly upgrade, downgrade, or even switch between different coworking plans.

While the standard practice is to change memberships only once the current one ends, Village Hotels may be able to offer additional options, so it’s best to reach out to their staff directly.

  • Most coworking space amenities are open to all members, regardless of the membership plan. Meeting rooms require prior reservation, and private offices are exclusively available to those with subscription packages. However, the lounge, kitchen, and breakout spaces are open to everyone. Complimentary amenities are also available to all, while ancillary services can be purchased or negotiated individually with Village Hotels.
