Aspire lounge Birmingham what a total joke!!!!
I have visited this lounge about 5 months ago and I was pleasantly impressed with the changes made. I spoke to the manager and expressed my delight in seeing the viable changes been made to make this a pleasant experience for the customers. However I visited again yesterday as I was travelling with Lufthansa airlines business class and I was shocked.
* The lounge looks like a storage container overcrowded with things everywhere. The Bar looks like a dumping ground. Wine boxes, beers boxes, bottles, bins and general crap everywhere.
* The lounge is so dirty, plates and glasses on tables just left. The carpet had food all over it.
* Staff not interested in working at all, when I worked in I was treated with “give me your boarding card” no welcome no nothing!!!! Disgusting
*Food was cold, dry and inedible. Croissants were rock hard and the chiller empty, when I asked a staff for fresh food I got sent to a manager.
The manager was genuinely not interested in my feedback, I explained that only 5 months ago this was looking much better what has changed. All I got from this lady who can I say could not speak properly, clearly English is not her 1st language. I think her name was Naz she looked like she was comfortable talking to me, kept saying “I’m sorry yes I’m sorry”. If you’re sorry what are you going to do to change it? She is not manager material.
What sort of place are you running Aspire. How is the airport allowing such to happen. I will be writing to the airport and airline about my concerns, this place should be shut down or get in a manager who actually knows what they are doing. Aspire what your money but don’t want to deliver a service in return
I would rather pay to go into No1 lounge.
Trading standards need’s to hear about this place.
