Located on the corner of University Avenue and Queen Street West, the Bank of Canada Building is an eight-storey heritage designated structure situated on a full city block in Toronto's downtown core that originally served as the regional head office for the central bank. IQ Offices has revitalized this heritage icon for a unique office and coworking space: 12-foot open ceilings, glass and concrete design, and The Vault, a lounge/event space in a 4,500 square-foot former gold and currency repository.

Completed in 1957, this eight-storey structure occupies a full city block and offers an abundance of natural light to the 43 private offices, five pods and 12 dedicated desks occupying one full floor. The uniqueness of the building's architecture is captured by the interior design, which features 12-foot open ceilings, 9-foot wood doors with glass inserts, glass office fronts and exposed concrete columns and floors.

IQ Offices Members at this location benefit from private elevator access to a beautifully appointed, contemporary lounge space located in the 4,500 square foot Vault, originally constructed to house the gold and currency reserves for this region of the country. In addition to a premium lounge space, the Vault also offers a variety of meeting room options and is available for private event bookings. The staff at the 250 University IQ offices are very friendly and take great care of the space. They are responsive and attentive to our concerns, which is greatly appreciated. The physical space itself is excellent. The facilities at 250 University include three spacious boardrooms, as well as a basement vault that can be used for social events and activities.

I run the TalentWorld branch for Toronto and have been in this space for the past 2.5 years. Paola and Brian have been amazing in making the shared office experience very personable and welcoming to all. The environment is modern, always clean and offers a variety of different spaces for my staff and for business meetings. I highly recommend this space for startups, companies and freelancers. Bonus - happy hour for networking, free snacks + breakfast and a putting green in the unique vault space in the basement!
