Zero star.!Dishonest. Poor Management. Unprofessional. I was a tenant at Zemlar offices in Burlington on North Service Road. We found out in September that Zemlar had not payed rent for the last 12 months to the building in which their suite was located and they were leaving the location. Zemlar never directly communicated to any of the tenants. As i had month to month lease, i left. Then i spent the last 5 months trying to get the security deposit back by emailing them. They kept manipulating me, saying its coming and never followed up. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau and now there is a permanent record of their lack of business ethics on their website. They ignored the BBB requests to resolve the issue.

I rented space from them at one of their locations. Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to move away from their premises. The company’s management, headed by Hamza were super helpful in this transition. They not only refunded back our security deposit, but also made alternative arrangements to occupy at their other locations. They do care about your business.

The worst company ever to rent office space. The owner - Rashid took money - one year advance by luring 2 months free rent, and under Ramdaan name, and immediately vanished with the money. Its been now 9 months, every day following up and they dont pick and reply ever. Taking money under the religion is the worst kind of deal i ever made. These people are scammers. Stay away from them. Worst and pathetic people.

If there was a "zero stars" option, I would have used it for this review. I rented a dedicated office with ZEMLAR and then later moved to just a mailbox with them. At 4pm on Sep 25th, I was informed by email that -- effective Sep 26th -- the ZEMLAR location on Cornwall Rd in Oakville (where I maintained my mailbox) would be closed permanently. Allegedly, Zemlar failed to pay its landlord, Melrose Investments, there. That is, notwithstanding the rent it was collecting from its sub-lessees. I also understand, based on hearsay, that this wasn't the first time ZEMLAR has "borrowed from Peter to pay Paul" and that a similar shirking of its responsibilities occurred at another previous ZEMLAR location (on North Service Rd) in Oakville. I will not be doing business with them again. Edit: @Zemlar, I see you replied. If you have anything productive to say and care to contact me, then you have my personal / business contact information and can use it at your discretion. Otherwise, please don't pretend in these public forums that your reply, with its invitation for any of us to email you, counts as you being particularly responsive. I have not seen you take any responsibility for your actions or inactions in this respect.

Will update on what’s going on with my file this week if it doesn’t get solved. Be aware. They will lock you out and take your money I will be taking this to the media if this is not solved along with the owners

Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with Zemlar Offices.
The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.
