A new coworking concept tailored to the needs of working parents is set to open on August 1 in Scottsdale, Ariz. Work & Stay will operate out of a 5,000-square-foot facility at the Pavilions at Talking Stick shopping center. The facility combines professional workspace with licensed, on-site child care for children aged 18 months to 5 years.

Designed to support both productivity and peace of mind, the space includes private workstations, soundproof meeting pods, high-speed internet, a community kitchen with complimentary coffee, and livestream access to all childcare rooms.

Founded by Danielle Huppler — also the owner of the neighboring Play & Stay indoor playground — the initiative was inspired by her own experience navigating parenthood and remote work.

“The goal of Work & Stay is to offer parents a distraction-free space to be productive while their children receive high-quality care just steps away,” she said.

Membership plans are structured to meet a range of needs. Pricing starts at $350 per month for coworking lounge access, which includes care for one child up to 40 hours per month. Or, a half-day plan, covering up to 90 hours, begins at $500 per month. Otherwise, for those requiring more dedicated space and time, a private cubicle plan starts at $1,100 per month, allowing for up to 160 hours of child care. Additional children can be added for an extra fee, depending on the plan.

Work & Stay will be open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Families interested in learning more or registering can visit workandstayaz.com.
