Techspace, a flexible workspace provider catering to technology and creative companies, has announced plans to open its seventh location in London. The new 20,000-square-foot site is situated on St Andrew Street between Chancery Lane and Farringdon, offering direct access to one of the city’s most connected areas.
The new building spans six floors and is designed to meet the needs of scaling teams with private office suites ranging from eight to 32 desks. A mix of communal amenities will also be available, including a ground-floor café-bar, wellbeing room, meeting suite and a rooftop terrace overlooking Farringdon. Additionally, the top floor houses a self-contained penthouse office with its own private terrace to offer a more secluded option for teams seeking added autonomy.
Designed with both performance and sustainability in mind, the building has undergone a complete strip-out and fit-out with an emphasis on material reuse and energy efficiency. Specifically, in collaboration with the landlord, Techspace has upgraded the site from an EPC rating of E to B; removed gas systems entirely; and implemented long-term solutions to reduce the building’s carbon footprint.
The opening follows the success of Techspace’s Goswell Road flagship, which now hosts the London AI Hub and a growing cluster of AI and climate-tech ventures. The new St Andrew Street site aims to continue that trajectory by supporting fast-growing companies in one of London’s emerging innovation corridors.
Pre-letting is currently underway with the space expected to open in November.
