Dropped in while travelling. Space is great. Definitely would use it again if I am back in Edmonton and need a space to work.

I needed a place to work for the day when visiting Edmonton. Worked here on a day pass. It was clean, quiet and coffee, water and snacks were provided. It was much nicer than trying to work at a coffee shop.

I was really excited to try Mystery Hobby because I’m someone who loves trying new hobbies—but I don’t always love buying a ton of supplies for something I may never do again. Unfortunately, this event left a lot to be desired. The event started late, and there wasn’t enough cake for everyone even though the project was “cake painting.” Once we got started, there was essentially no instruction, inspiration, or information about cake painting. There was a paper colour-theory sheet at each table, but otherwise it felt much more like basic cake decorating than learning or trying cake painting. I do appreciate that they provided pop, water, fruit, and veggies, which was a nice touch. I really wanted to enjoy the experience and love the concept behind Mystery Hobby, but unfortunately I left pretty disappointed. Even with the late start, we ended up leaving early.

Overall very fun experience. It was the first one so there was a few kinks to work out but we will be back!
