Nice staff. Credit card surcharge is chincy. Up your prices if you need to make another 3%. Do people really pay cash for your rooms?
It is by far the staff at Gravity Haus that make it unbeatable. I can imagine staying anywhere else.
Gravity House Jackson Hole — 1 star Six hundred dollars a night. Let that number sit there for a second, because it's going to come up again. For six hundred dollars a night, I got a room so small that the only walkable floor space was a narrow strip on either side of the bed. That's it. That's the room. If my girl and I needed to swap sides, we had to negotiate it like a hostage exchange. I've stayed in tents with better square footage, which — spoiler alert — becomes a running theme here. The air conditioner took twelve hours to cool the room. Twelve. I checked the outside temperature at one point and it was legitimately nicer out there. I laid awake flipping over like a rotisserie chicken, doing the math on whether sleeping in the parking lot would count as an upgrade. It would have. Ten times more comfortable, easily, and the parking lot doesn't charge a resort fee. Then there's the TV. Gravity House has gone all-in on an Apple TV setup, which sounds great until you discover the entire system is broken and won't let you watch anything. Not a specific app. Anything. We poked at it for a while, admitted defeat, and watched a movie huddled around a laptop like it was 2009 and we were in a college dorm. Very premium. The single window in the room faces the pool, so we got a live audio feed of everyone's evening until the pool finally closed. And when I went to drop the blackout shade to salvage what was left of the night, the cord wouldn't budge. I had to physically force the thing down inch by inch, hand over hand, like I was hauling in an anchor. At six hundred dollars a night, I should not be doing manual labor to achieve darkness. Tiny room. Broken AC. Broken TV. Pool noise. A window shade that fought back. This is one-star infrastructure wearing a five-star price tag, and somebody at corporate needs to walk this property and answer for it. What actually stings is that I've stayed at another Gravity House location that was genuinely great. I know what this brand is capable of. Which makes Jackson Hole feel less like a bad night and more like a warning that the standard is slipping. Fix this one, or take the name off it.
Terrible experience. The mattress was deeply saggy and concaved, the room had a strong musty smell. On top of that, there was a continuous, very loud mechanical noise coming from the bathroom all the time. On top of it, you can't close its sliding door completely
great location to tge tetons and yellowstone south entrance
