Staff was very friendly and hotel was nice. Room and fridge should be nicer for the price.

Gravity Haus Jackson Hole really puts the Hole in Jackson Hole! Since I can’t actually reply to Grant’s response I will just say that nobody believes the positive review or that Grant and staff (what staff?) did anything but add phony charges to our bill and then slowly remove them once we questioned. Gravity Haus engages in charging resort prices for low utility motel rooms. They also pad invoices with “non refundable” fees like over $200 a night in just resort fees, $50 a night connecting room fees. Bad enough to pay for two rooms but then have to pay a nightly fee? Holds for incidentals that don’t exist. There's nothing incidental to purchase at GH JH so why not just charge as purchased and authorize the card to charge for incidentals instead? Why? because once you approve the charge or don’t question it at all - they just keep it for having provided nothing. This was a creepy and disgusting experience. Grant offered a “full refund” of our entire stay and sent a zero balance summary of charges receipt except - there is still $3400 remaining refund due. For a two night stay at a motel. After he 0s out our invoice and still owes us refunds, he posts that he feels what we paid was a correct amount? Not honest at all Original Post: While there is an active investigation underway, i am hesitant to offer the details of my stay - but if waitresults in anymore victims, I would feel just terrible. Gravity Haus Jackson Hole and its management inflates customer invoices and then threatens guests with cancellation fees once the fraudulent charges are questioned. This is a low utility motel priced as a high quality resort - charging high room rates coupled with $212+ a night in so called”resort fees” - without the actual resort The front desk informs upon check in there will also be a $75 a day fee held for “incidentals” except there isn’t anything worth $75 at Gravity Haus so why bother? When the invoice is questioned, Gravity Haus leans into the Wyoming consumer anti-protection philosophy which basically says if a company charges your card, you have no recourse. So - many disreputable “retailers” and hotel / motels charge away! No one of consequence is really looking This is a stay comparable to many motel options in the area - except the local motels have honest pricing that commiserates with the experience offered. Why bother with Gravity Haus when the much nicer (and cheaper) 5-star Four Seasons is just up the road?
