***2026 update to my review last year*** Just as a follow up to my previous review. If I could give this place 0 stars I would! Once I posted my last review about my complaint being ignored (amongst other things), all of a sudden I received an email stating that a case had been opened to resolve my issue. As a result of the ticket being opened, there were changes and credits to my account. Fast forward a few months and Regus said I owed over $1000 including a top off retainer to bring my current one to 2x the office rent. So they “fixed” the issue they created (see previous review), then created more issues. They didn’t return my original deposit to my method of payment as it states in their contract, but credited it to my account, added and charged back amounts, effectively manipulating my account and then claimed I owed them MORE money. My account is a mess because of all the items they added and subtracted and then when questioned they send an equation with a total of the invoices and what was “applied” to my account. Of course the numbers line up when you add chargebacks and numbers to make them. They processed my deposit and renewal incorrectly and no one owned up to this mess or offered any consolation for this complete mismanagement! They treated it as we audited YOUR account and found issues, then made me provide all of my cc statements to prove that I didn’t have multiple cc chargebacks as if I was the one who created the issues within my account! Then the only feedback was “we don’t know what happened before we got here, but we’ve tried everything to make this right so it’s not our fault,” especially given the amount of turnover. Needless to say, I did NOT renew the office space lease and when I went to request my retainer, it did not include the top off amount, but only the original balance. They’re now saying the additional amount I paid is from a series of “chargebacks” that were added to my account (mind you this was after they manipulated and created a complete mess of my account that you could barely make sense of) and was not part of a top off retainer that I was specifically told by 2 different team members I would need to pay and paid. They then sent me screenshots of the mess of the account they created and it’s quite interesting how those “chargebacks” they manually entered into my account equal the top off retainer balance I was told I needed to pay, but they’re now saying that is not what I paid and essentially will not be refunded my full retainer. Then of course you’re required to pay a restoration/cleaning fee for vacating the office space. I signed up for virtual office mail forwarding in February, but would like that service terminated before it begins because I’d like to completely sever ties with this company! The help desk has stopped responding to my queries, I’m assuming in an effort to draw this back and forth out until the service term begins! I would advise you stay far away from Regus Spaces unless you have a good attorney and time to go back and forth about the mismanagement of your account.

This is my first experience with renting an office, and I'm grateful for how easy and lovely it has been. I feel especially spoiled by all the amazing amenities! Garion's kind and careful attention keeps the suite so lovely and welcoming. I love having a real person on-site, to not just answer my n00b questions, but also to connect with, human to human. I worried that I would feel lonely and isolated, but he has made it feel like a friendly workplace.🙏

I regret choosing this as my coworking space, but sadly I'm locked into a contract they won't let me out of, despite my needs not being met + my requests for improvements being ignored. You're not allowed to take calls in shared spaces, which makes sense as a general courtesy, but there are only two private "phone booth" rooms. I constantly have issues with there not being available phone booths when I need them. Private offices are way too expensive, so that's not an option for me. I wrote an email for the center manager to forward to higher management, and I've heard no updates about plans to make available more spaces for private phone calls. Also, the photos online are misleading. The photos of all the light wooden finishes is a floor that is apparently bought out by Google. The floor that's actually available looks nothing like that, and has no open-air working spaces or places to sit and eat your lunch. Happy to upgrade this review to more stars if feedback is actually acted on & the space is improved.

I would highly consider looking into other office spaces before leasing here! Back in February my 2 year lease on my office was ending and I was looking to renew. The renewal rate was >100% of the current rental rate, so I contacted sales to see what they could do about a lower rate since we liked the office space and hadn’t had any prior issues. I spoke with a sales rep and he was able to get the monthly rate for a new agreement lowered (still above what we were currently paying and still a bit high compared to other office spaces) if we signed a new agreement. We were told that once we signed a new agreement, our old one would be terminated and the new agreement will go into effect in June and that there shouldn’t be any major changes/issues since we were remaining in the same office just under a new agreement. I was also told my Regus account would show I owed a security deposit for the new agreement, but that he would put in a ticket to transfer my current retainer to the new agreement, so I wouldn’t need to do anything. That’s when all hell broke loose! Not only was the retainer never transferred, I was charged all sorts of late fees for not paying the deposit AND the June office rent on the day I signed the agreement! About a week went by and the office manager reached out to me saying I owed over $2k and that it would need to be paid immediately to continue services with Spaces. I explained the situation to her and what I was lead to believe from the sales rep and was told that the sales reps don’t really deal with the invoicing and management side, so they don’t really know how things work. She then said she would put a ticket in for a partial refund for the late fees, but couldn’t guarantee anything. The retainer was never transferred and I’ve yet to receive ANY credits and this was back on March 13. Also, at the end of March I received a notice from Spaces legal department saying I owed over $5k for an “unresolved balance” that mind you was nowhere reflected on my account. I was able to get in touch with finance and was told the legal issue was resolved, but I still remain skeptical on the matter. I tried calling the number on the website to get this entire issue escalated to corporate but you can’t get a live person and the automated system just tells you to fill out a form on the site, so I filled out the complaint form. I specifically asked for this issue to be escalated to corporate management for resolution on the form I filled out online (because you can’t get a live person). After 2 weeks of silence, the community manager from the facility reached out asking about my questions and concerns when they were made clear in the complaint. I asked again for my issue to be escalated and was told my complaint would be “passed along” for a timely resolution…..that was a month ago today and I’ve heard NOTHING! However, I’m sure I’ll be receiving an invoice for next month’s payment. It seems like I’m just being brushed off and pacified by people telling me they’re “putting in tickets” or “passing along” concerns. I would highly recommend considering other office spaces before settling on this one. I thought I was getting premium service and quality given the premium pricing, especially when you consider the average cost/sq. ft of space in the city of Madison. The Regus Spaces facilities are definitely on the higher end.

Very mediocre from a co-working standpoint; minimal lounge/flex spaces, sterile aesthetics, primarily corporate tenants, and no programming or free perks. I was a tenant for a year and their leasing/fee structure was buried enough that it felt geared toward tenants with an AP team or attorney keeping tabs on things.
