Staff are amazing, space is very nice. Other customers/members are....... There are lots of loud conversations all the time, many on the phone, even though there are 5 soundproof phone booths. It's kind of like the Starbucks vibe, where these people are partially working, partially performing. One also might think they're amongst intelligent, like-minded individuals here, and one could be proven wrong.

Beware The Coven Eau Claire Not a Organization run by Professionals If you like working in a facility where the rules of operation are unknown (except to higher ups) and you are being monitored (on camera and in person) at all times based on said rules, sure, then yes the Coven is a place for you. For me, the sudden and unexpected announcement I was canceled was a disruption to my life and business. When I was granted a membership to grow my business in 2024 at the Coven, I took full advantage of the networking. One day, someone from the Eau Claire Coven “team” contacted me anonymously by email indicating I am banned from their facility effective immediately with no explanation. I contacted management indicating I would listen to what the problem was - we could meet someplace neutral in public but they refused to tell me why I was no longer welcome here and refused to meet with me. This lack of respect reminded me of clicky behaviors once found in the halls of junior high school. The Coven Eau Claire management (Pablo group?) have seriously disrupted my business and life for reasons unknown to me. After 6 months in exile, the humiliating feeling still hasn’t left me. What it says to me is, if you are not the right brand at Coven Eau Claire, you are gone.

Great spot for a meeting

I work out of Coven a few times a week and love it. Not only is it a gorgeous space with a lot of different options for workspaces (communal tables, couches, dedicated desks, private offices), it also cultivates a deep sense of community and belonging. I love that I can show up and bounce ideas off of other folks, or just have a nice chat in the kitchen waiting for fresh coffee to brew; or that I can put in my Air Pods (the universal sign for "do not disturb") and get my work done. From member only events to VIVID (a group just for women and gender expansive folks), I love everything "extra" Coven offers too!

I stopped by the coven and grabbed a day pass to get out of the house. It’s $25 a day to be able to work and use the kitchen, printer, etc. I was kind of surprised of the noise in the place. I came here to get away from a noisy cafe/ coffee shop but in a lot of aspects it was noisier. One of the workers was holding a full blown conversation for hours in the middle of the communal work space. If you need to talk that loud and that much while working, grab a conference room. Also when I mentioned that I was surprised that it was just a regular coffee carafe to said worker instead of a fancy coffee machine, she shortly said back to me that they were good with the coffee they had. Brewed coffee is like $1, what am I paying for coming here? I might as well just go to a coffee shop next time. It would be less expensive and quieter. Also the floor hasn’t been vacuumed and the trashes were full. I arrived at 8:30am.
