The job coach I worked with Compass Career Solutions provided excellent support, but my overall experience with the organization after her leave/departure was extremely difficult. There were also issues over the summer when I was still receiving services from the job coach. I want to share my experience with Compass Career Solutions. While I utilized the Olympia location, I was still in contact with several people throughout the state at Compass. I have complex PTSD, and my experience with this company triggered my symptoms. I stayed with Compass longer than I otherwise might have because my job coach, Kim, provided the support I needed at the time. She was calm, kind, patient, and emotionally attuned—qualities that made a meaningful difference in my life. Her guidance helped me make progress, and I’m very grateful for the support she provided. Unfortunately, when Kim abruptly left, the level of support and communication from the organization (lead and administrative staff — Michaela, Karyn, Shawna, and Brandy) dropped significantly. My interactions with supervisory and administrative staff were often frustrating and disempowering. I was frequently left out of the loop for months at a time and had to repeatedly follow up just to get basic answers. While I was expected to respond to emails within 48 hours, that same level of responsiveness was not extended to clients. After Kim’s leave in November 2025, I often felt treated more like a file than a person. Communication was inconsistent, and there was little accountability when follow-ups did not happen. At one point I was left without a clear point of contact for an extended period. When I attempted to obtain my records, I was initially told they did not exist. After repeated requests, some documents were eventually sent, but I was later told that case notes could not be released. A promised follow-up regarding this never occurred. While I deeply appreciated the care and professionalism of my former job coach, my overall experience with Compass’s administration was stressful and disappointing. Based on my experiences, there appears to be serious issues with communication, follow-through, and transparency that potential clients should be aware of. These experiences caused significant stress during a time when I was relying on the program for support. I hope Compass will review these issues and clarify how they ensure clients receive timely communication and access to their records. However if you make a complaint to them or leave any feedback or review on their website. They completely ignore it. Overall, this company has been a huge disappointment for me. Absolutely no accountability whatsoever. It’s borderline abusive and negligent. If you are considering this service, be aware that support may depend heavily on the individual job coach you are assigned, and communication from administration may be inconsistent. Better yet, don’t consider them. Sketchiest place ever.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • If you’re seeking flexible access, the monthly membership at Catalyst Co-Working - Ellensburg Catalyst provides 24/7 access to our workspace. Hourly and day passes, however, are typically limited to regular business hours.

  • Open desks may be the ideal choice if you thrive in a collaborative environment and value the opportunity to connect with fellow coworkers. Dedicated desks, on the other hand, provide a designated space with shared community amenities, catering to those who seek a balance between privacy and interaction.

For ultimate focus and private interactions, private offices are best for solo individuals and teams that seek uninterrupted productivity.

Selecting the most suitable workspace for you typically hinges on your work style and preferences, but it can also be determined by the type of work that you do, its duration, and whether you work alone or in a team.

  • Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.

It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Catalyst Co-Working, who is more than happy to help out.

  • Coworking spaces typically have limited storage options, most of which are reserved for members with dedicated desks or private offices. With that said, it’s best to contact the coworking operator directly via the form on the right side of the page to learn about available storage options.

  • Whether you're a day pass holder or a monthly member, you can access most amenities. Meeting rooms do require prior scheduling, and private offices are reserved for those with subscriptions. However, the lounge, kitchen, and breakout spaces are open to all. Complimentary services are also available regardless of membership tier, while ancillary services can be purchased separately or negotiated with Catalyst Co-Working.
